NETWORK ANNOUNCES OPENING VENUES FOR 'TONY MANERO' 27/01/2009

Network are delighted to delighted to confirm the UK theatrical release date for TONY MANERO, the blackly comic satire about a sociopath in General Pinochet's Chile who has an obsession with John Travolta's character from Saturday Night Fever. The film will open for a two-week run at the Institute for the Contemporary Arts in London on the 10th April, as well as the Apollo Piccadilly Circus, Lighthouse Dublin, Filmhouse Edinburgh, Cornerhouse Manchester, Watershed Bristol and Showroom Sheffield.

 

There will also be a series of Q&As with the lead actor Alfredo Castro on the following dates:

 

Institute for the Contemporary Arts (10th April)

Lighthouse Dublin (11th April)

Cornerhouse Manchester (12th April)

Filmhouse Edinburgh (13th April)

 

Forthcoming four-star reviews have described the film as "...compulsive viewing" (Stephen Dalton, Uncut) and "...enough to give you the heeby-Bee Gees" (Neil Smith, Total Film).
