END OF LOVE

Stuck in a Christian rehab camp, Ming recalls his double life, a whirlwind of sex and drugs as a rent boy, and a sedate, romantic time with the older and more conservative Yen.  Secrets and lies haunt their relationship, as Ming's mother confronts her son's sexuality in a most extreme fashion and Yen tries to get Ming to give up hustling.

END OF LOVE premiered in the Panorama section of the Berlin International Film Festival, and had two sold-out screenings at the Hong Kong International Film Festival.  Its graphic nudity and homo-erotic scenes polarised the film's home audience, and the film comes from Simon Chung who is one of very few directors tackling gay issues in Hong Kong.
